Qlik Sense extension development

Qlik Sense Extensions are very powerful. You can use them to add visualizations or missing features, improve interaction or enforce your company profile.

As a former member of the Qlik R&D team working with extensions, mashups and integration I cover both areas. Qlik Sense mashup development

Qlik Sense allows you to build your own web pages and include Qlik Sense objects, whether they are built-in charts or extensions.

This is frequently used to build your own pages to work with the product.

This way you can makes it easier for your end users to access the data they need and seamlessly integrate with other information.

One of my main tasks while at Qlik R&D was to develop Mashup support and the Capabilities APIs. As a contractor I have worked extensively with this at IKEA and other customers.

Other integration scenarios

Qlik Sense is an open product. You can communicate with the Qlik Sense engine from all environments where you can use Web Sockets.

I have made integrations both from Microsoft Excel and Google Chrome.

You can also use IFRAME integration, with none or very little programming.
